College isn't just about showing up for classes—it's about leveling up your skills, your experiences and your earning potential. That’s the idea behind Blueprint Rewards, Lynn University's new program that turns student involvement into meaningful rewards.
"Think of it like your favorite airline or retail loyalty program," said Chief Marketing Officer Sherrie Weldon, "but instead of points for flights or shopping, you earn scholarships and perks for participating in activities that build your skills. The more you engage, the more rewards you unlock —and the better your résumé looks."
Why it's a game-changer
The philosophy is simple: the more you put into your education, the more you get out of it. As of January 2026, Blueprint Rewards provides Lynn undergraduate students a chance to earn up to $6,750 in scholarships, exclusive Lynn gear, store discounts and even a complimentary graduate course. And the best part? It builds a Student Engagement Transcript (SET) that highlights the skills employers are looking for—problem-solving, collaboration, communication, accountability, adaptability and leadership.
"The student engagement transcript provides a plan for student success, and Blueprint Rewards makes that plan pay off," says Vice President for Student Affairs Anthony Altieri. "This program aligns with Lynn's commitment to prepare students for meaningful lives and careers by encouraging them to take ownership of their experiences and directly see the rewards of their engagement."
How it works
Students work toward six career-focused badges, each representing a vital skill for the future. By completing 20 points of activities in a category, they earn a badge that not only marks achievement but also tells a story of growth. When shared on LinkedIn, these badges become a powerful way to show future employers what students bring to the table.
To create the badge system, Lynn's Student Affairs team leveraged research from the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) to identify employer-valued skills and assign activities designed to build each skill. To earn points towards the Leadership badge, for example, students join a CliftonStrengths session to set personal and professional goals, attend the Dialogues Lecture Series to hear from world-renowned leaders or sign up to be an Orientation Leader to help welcome new students to the university.
Impact that makes a difference
"As a student who is really involved in campus, it makes it really easy to see your impact making a difference, and not only making a difference for people, but also making a difference to your pockets," said international business management major Rhiannon Noel '26. "I think it's really good and will be a great program for all the students coming in."
Blueprint Rewards is about building a portfolio of real skills, showing up for your community, and making your time at Lynn count. Graduates leave with more than a degree—they leave with a track record of achievement, a competitive edge and the confidence to take on whatever comes next.
